Weeell here it issss!!!
This is my first time doing a full-proportioned MLP-style plush! I am hoping that once I have perfected the pattern (and it certainly is not perfect yet) I will be able to open full-proportioned commissions to clients based here in Australia.
But see I didn't want to make a generic pony, so I made a slightly less generic one... That's right... this is Ponyta from the Pokemon franchise, made in the style of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" ponies! Except for the eye.... I just can't stand huge cutesy eyes!! gaahh!!! The eye is Ponyta's eye from the Pokedex. pretty much. A little bigger and cuter.
She's 42cm high! (pretty huge), all Minky fabric except for the eyes, and took about 8 hours to make since most of the double colouring on the mane was hand-sewn. Since my machine eats the edges of things. Shitty sewing machine....
Awww... ust imagine how much BETTER this would be if I had an embroidery machine for the eyes...
ANYWAY!!! I am asking for critique on this one! Yesh. But I'm specifically asking for other plush-makers to give me critique. See I want to make this pattern better. I already have an idea of what to change. my ideas include the following:
~More pronounced nose
~Fatter legs with more flare at the bottom
~better ears (somehow...)
Please, if you're a plush maker and can give me some advice on what (and how) to improve this, please do! ^_^ Or if you just wanna give me some general feedback, I also welcome that! Thanks guys! ;w;

" title=" (Smile)"/>So, if you wanted to improve on the pattern, I'd say this. I agree with the fatter legs and more of a flare on the bottom. The hair/mane is actually very well done, and the eyes are done very well! I know everyone's doing the MLP thing lately with the giant Lauren Faust style eyes, so this is a welcome break from seeing that.
I suggest perhaps making the torso shorter, which would probably make it more of that cute style you may have been going for. As for the ears you should perhaps sew the base into a U shape, so that the ear curves. The location of the ears is great.
You should be proud of yourself! Plush artists try many many times before perfecting a horse plush!
