Human infiltration week one- Socks

"Week one of my attempt to infiltrate human society... The ultra violet rays given off by this world's sun have sapped my skin of its natural purple hue. I have taken to wearing the native attire of the humans, which I find generally uncomfortable. Why do they bother to wear clothes at all?

Although, there is one item of human clothing I have begun to enjoy- socks. They are apparently the attire worn by the more prosperous amongst humans and seem to be a symbol of wealth. Poor humans, such as those they call hobos and hipsters, appear to be unable to afford the luxury known as socks. Having acquired a pair, I am proudly showing them off without shoes so as to gain a place of respect with the humans. Many humans are staring at me, so I can only assume that it is a look of unbounded respect and admiration upon their primitive faces.

My horns are attracting unwanted attention. I may wear socks on them too."
